TED TALK: What makes a good life? @ SECULAR SATURDAY

As humanists, we believe that we’ve got one life to live and that’s it. So, we’ve got to make the most of it. In this session, we will listen to the TED Talk by Robert Waldinger, psychiatrist at Harvard Medical School and director of the Harvard Study of Adult Development, the longest scientific study of happiness ever conducted.

We will then discuss his findings and talk about how they apply to our own lives. Furthermore, what implications do these findings have on how our humanist community can support and contribute to our own well-being and that of others?

The video and discussion will be from 3:00—4:30. Afterwards, join other Secular Saturday attendees in the gallery for refreshments and socializing.

Audrey Kingstrom, Program Coordinator for HumanistsMN and humanist celebrant will facilitate this session.

This event is sponsored by HumanistsMN. If you are not yet a member, please consider joining to help us cover our costs and build the humanist movement. Not ready to join? Donations are gratefully accepted! Join or donate at https://humanistsmn.org/
