Habits of Humanism: Mindful Living with Gratitude and Generosity

Join us for some mindful mediation and reflection – on gratitude and its partner, generosity. Wellness experts all agree that living with gratitude and generosity are good for one’s health. But how do we move from a trite mantra to something more transformational in our lives? How can we add intentional habits of gratitude and generosity into our daily living that will last beyond the holiday season?

We will begin with a guided meditation on gratitude, followed by some reflections and insights on gratitude and generosity. Attendees are invited to share their own experiences and lessons with the group.

All are welcome in the spirit of compassion as we seek to support one another toward greater well-being.

Each month we explore a different aspect of mindfulness and its associated practice from a secular humanist and naturalist perspective — drawing on the experience and wisdom of participants. This month’s session is facilitated by Humanist Celebrant, Audrey Kingstrom.

This event is sponsored by HumanistsMN. If you are not yet a member, please consider joining to help us cover our costs and build the humanist movement. Not ready to join? Donations are gratefully accepted! Join or donate at humanistsmn.org.
