Winter Solstice Celebration: Holiday Dinner and Festivus Follies

HumanistsMN is bringing freethinkers together to celebrate the Winter Solstice in secular style. Join us to mark the real reason for the season at a FESTIVUS for the Rest of Us!

Please register here before Dec. 7. Seating is limited so register ASAP in case we sell out. (Meetup only gives us the option of closing sign-ups one week in advance, but the correct deadline is Dec. 7 — not the 9th as stated in the sidebar. ) Please note — RSVPing on Meetup will not get you registered.

We’ll gather at 5 p.m. for socializing (cash bar available). Dinner will be served at 5:45 p.m., followed by the “Festivus Follies” and secular caroling at 6:45 p.m.

Dinner reservations are $40 (with $5 discount for dues-paying members of HumanistsMN or MN Atheists). Youth 16 and under attend for $10. You can also choose to attend the entertainment only for $10.

You will have a choice between two dinner entrees. Please indicate whether you have any dietary restrictions and we will try to accommodate them. Act fast! The registration deadline is Dec. 7. Seating is limited!

We will be collecting gifts for The Bridge for Youth, which provides housing and other assistance to in-crisis and homeless youth. Let’s do what we can to make their difficult lives a little brighter! Please bring an unwrapped gift from the group’s Target registry.
