Humanists, for the most part, are not afraid of dying. Afraid of the process, perhaps, but not death itself. Even so, too many of us do not give enough thought to the inevitable. We focus more on living a good life when we also should be preparing for a good death.
Join us to watch two short TED Talk videos followed by guided discussion to take stock of our own preparedness.
- Let’s talk about dying — Peter Saul
- Prepare for a good end of life — Judy MacDonald Johnston
The videos and discussion will be from 3:00—4:30, facilitated by HumanistsMN members and celebrants, Audrey Kingstrom and Dayna Wolhart. Afterwards, join other Secular Saturday attendees in the gallery for refreshments and socializing.
This event is sponsored by HumanistsMN. If you are not yet a member, please consider joining to help us cover our costs and build the humanist movement. Not ready to join? Donations are gratefully accepted! Join or donate at https://humanistsmn.org
