Open Arms of Minnesota is a nonprofit organization that prepares and delivers nourishing meals free of charge to critically ill Minnesotans and their families. Let’s do our part by tending their gardens that grow some of the food they provide! Tasks might include weeding, harvesting or prepping beds. They are depending on us – please do attend if you RSVP Yes.
Separate registration is needed with Open Arms – that link will be provided around 10 days before the event.
*If anyone is interested, we could follow our event with a meal together.*

DO: dress for the weather and wear proper footwear. It is recommended to bring a refillable water bottle and anything else needed to feel comfortable working outdoors. Portable restrooms are on site – and all tools, gloves, and materials for the required tasks are provided
WEATHER: we will work in rain or shine; however, if there will be heavy rain or the threat of storms, we will cancel. We also will cancel if the heat index is above 100°.
