Sometimes, it can be a challenge to work toward our goals. To show up, again, for a cause we believe in. To stick to our principles. To put effort into our relationships. Some days, it’s even hard just to get out of bed. What can we do when we lack the dedication and drive to live our best lives?
Join us this month as we reflect on the capacity to persevere and persist in the face of personal and societal challenges and struggles. How can a mindfulness practice help us through difficult times? How can we as a humanist community support one another?
We will begin with a guided meditation, followed by discussion. Attendees are invited to share their own life experiences and lessons with the group.
All are welcome in the spirit of compassion as we seek to support one another toward greater well-being.
Each month we explore a different aspect of mindfulness and its associated practice from a secular humanist and naturalist perspective — drawing on the experience and wisdom of participants. This month’s session is facilitated by Humanist Celebrant, Audrey Kingstrom.
This event is sponsored by HumanistsMN. If you are not yet a member, please consider joining to help us cover our costs and build the humanist movement. Not ready to join? Donations are gratefully accepted! Join or donate at humanistsmn.org
