This month we are bringing in three educational leaders to discuss how the culture wars are affecting our schools. Panelists include: teacher and Minneapolis School Board member Collin Beachy, former Anoka-Hennepin School Board member Nicole Hayes, and Education Minnesota Press Secretary Chris Williams.

All are welcome. Childcare is available upon request by Feb. 13 at The program begins at 3 p.m., followed by Q & A. At 4:30 we’ll break for socializing over nibbles and drinks.

The culture wars are rampant in schools around the country as well as here in Minnesota. School boards are being attacked for attending to the needs of an ever-growing diverse student population and for supporting such initiatives as inclusive curricula, validation of LGBTQ students, and social-emotional learning.

Join us to hear how these attacks are affecting our youth and those who serve them. Come learn who is behind this divisive agenda and what we can do about it.
