Please join us for a thoughtful discussion on a food tour of different varieties of dumplings worldwide: from shumai and gyozas to pierogies and fufu. During this event, members will be offered the opportunity to sample different types of dumplings, and we hope that food opens the door to cultural heritage and brings people together. Please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions.
HumanistsMN member and pharmacist, Sophie Le, will facilitate the session to watch a brief TED Talk together and explore the cultural and historical journey behind commonplace dishes.
The video, discussion, and tasting will be from 3:00—4:30. Afterwards, join other Secular Saturday session attendees in the gallery for more refreshments and socializing.
This event is sponsored by HumanistsMN. If you are not yet a member, please consider joining to help us cover our costs and build the humanist movement. Not ready to join? Donations are gratefully accepted! Join or donate at humanistsmn.org.
