HumanistsMN is proud to have supported Camp Quest North (CQN), a humanist-oriented summer camp, since its inception. This overnight camp for youth ages 8 -17 provides an educational adventure shaped by fun, friends, and freethought. A summer camp experience that promotes science, wonder, and humanist values.
Please consider making a contribution to our Camp Quest North fund drive this spring. While CQN was not able to offer camp last year due to the pandemic, now they need their long-time supporters more than ever to help them get back up and running this year. Many adaptations will have to be made to meet Covid-19 guidelines which will raise the cost for camp. Your generous gift can help keep camp affordable for more families.
You can make a tax-deductible donation online through the HumanistsMN website. Use the “designation” drop-down menu at the bottom of the page to indicate “Camp Quest.” Or, if you prefer to mail a check, click on this PDF to get instructions. Any amount is welcome to help us meet our goal of $2,000.
Camp Quest North remains a treasure within the secular community in Minnesota. Held at the Voyageur Environmental Center in Minnetrista, the camp engages youth in programming that encourages rational inquiry, free speech, active citizenship, and respect. It also offers traditional camp activities such as field games, swimming, archery, crafts, and campfires. Summer camp is such an enriching experience for youth. Let’s help keep CQN thriving!
Thank you for your generosity!
